On 20 January, partners of the StartupLab Project came together for their third online coordination meeting to review the progress of Activity 1: Needs Assessment Report and align on the next steps for implementation and dissemination 🚀.

Great progress was shared during the session — surveys are now nearly completed across all participating countries 🌍, marking an important milestone in our research phase 📊.

Partners also reaffirmed their commitment to the desk research process 📚, agreeing to continue their work and submit all findings, including survey and interview results, to Association Hexagonale for consolidation and analysis.

We closed the meeting with a strong sense of teamwork, shared responsibility, and commitment to moving forward together toward the next phase of the project 🤝

On 18 December, our partners came together for the second online meeting of the StartupLab Project to take the next big step in Activity 1: Needs Assessment Report 📊.

We aligned our data collection approach across all partner countries 🌍, reviewing the desk research template and the draft survey and interview tools prepared by Association Hexagonale 📝. Thanks to everyone’s valuable input, we enriched the tools with new questions and practical insights shaped by local contexts and target groups 💡.

Our Physiotherapy students visited Romatem, a leading center in physical therapy and rehabilitation. With its innovative treatment methods and advanced technology, Romatem provides top-tier rehabilitation services.

During the visit, our students engaged with expert physiotherapists, gaining hands-on experience and observing modern rehabilitation techniques in action. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Romatem team for their hospitality and for sharing their valuable knowledge with us.

Our Dental Prosthetics students visited Dentarium, one of Izmir's largest dental prosthesis laboratories. Renowned for its innovative technologies and experienced staff, Dentarium plays a leading role in dental prosthesis production.

During the visit, students received practical training in a laboratory equipped with modern technology, gaining valuable professional insights into the sector. We extend our sincere thanks to the Dentarium team for their hospitality and for sharing their expertise with our students.

We are excited to announce that the first transnational meeting of our Startup Lab: Empowering Adults for Digital Business project took place in France!

During the meeting, our partners came together to discuss the project goals, work packages, roles, and the first steps of implementation. This innovative project aims to empower adults with digital entrepreneurship skills, and our kick-off meeting set a strong and inspiring start for the journey ahead.

In the upcoming months, we will be working on:

• Developing training materials
• Creating digital business tools
• Organizing capacity-building activities for adult learners

Today, we were delighted to host the team of 7th Epaggelmatiko Lykeio Larisa as part of the Erasmus+ KA1 VET project, "Skills Development through Innovative Practices: Empowering Physiotherapists, Dental Technicians, and Teachers through Digital Technologies."

We had a fantastic training day with vocational healthcare high school students and teachers, focusing on digital health applications.

We had a productive learning experience with students from ARTA Health Vocational High School (Greece) during their visit to Batı Anadolu Health Vocational High School.

🩺 CPR Training: Students received hands-on Basic Life Support (CPR) training from expert teachers, learning vital techniques to save lives in emergencies.

🏥 Hospital Visit: Following the training, we visited Batı Anadolu Hospitals to observe medical professionals in action across different units, gaining valuable vocational insights.

We thank both Batı Anadolu Health Vocational High School and Batı Anadolu Hospitals for this valuable collaboration.

We hosted vocational students specializing in geriatrics from Greece for an inspiring study visit. Together, we visited the Bostanlı Bilge Çınarlar Healthy Aging Center and the Alzheimer Center.

Supported by the Karşıyaka Municipality, these centers provide vital services to promote active aging and improve quality of life.

At the Alzheimer Center, we observed cognitive activity programs and daily support services. Our students gained valuable insights into early diagnosis and care processes.
